Neem Wood Bento Cutlery Set with Cotton Block-Print Pouch

Natural neem wood cutlery, tucked into a beautifully patterned cotton pouch for lunches on the go.

Made in India from natural neem wood, this reusable cutlery set is a simple alternative to disposable and plastic utensils.

Each wooden utensil has an unpainted, polished finish, allowing the natural grain, texture and subtle fresh scent of the neem wood to remain. Neem is a strong, durable timber that has been valued in India for generations.

The set comes with its own cotton storage pouch, featuring traditional Indian woodblock-printed fabric. At approximately 20cm long, the pouch keeps your cutlery together and protected inside your lunch bag, making it an easy companion to a bento box for work, picnics, travel or everyday lunches.

As both the timber and fabric have natural and handcrafted characteristics, slight variations between pieces are part of their charm.

Why We Chose It

We chose this set for its beautifully simple combination of natural materials and practical design.

The utensils are made from neem wood with an unpainted, polished finish — no lacquer or painted coating is listed on the food-contact surface.

We also love that the usual plastic travel case has been replaced with a reusable cotton pouch. The Indian woodblock-printed fabric brings warmth and individuality to each set while keeping the utensils conveniently together when you're away from home.

Paired with one of our stainless steel bentos, it's a thoughtful alternative to disposable or plastic cutlery.

About the Cotton Pouch

The included pouch is made from cotton fabric featuring an Indian woodblock print, giving the set a distinctly handcrafted character.

It's designed to keep your utensils together when they're not in use and makes the set particularly convenient for carrying in your lunch bag or alongside a bento.

Variations in the print and appearance may occur, adding to the individuality of each set.

Care Instructions

Hand wash the wooden utensils only. Clean promptly after use and avoid soaking or leaving them wet for extended periods. Dry thoroughly before returning them to the cotton pouch.

Because the neem wood is unpainted, prolonged exposure to moisture and oils can gradually change the appearance and texture of the timber. This is a natural characteristic of the material.

To maintain the wood, the manufacturer recommends applying a thin layer of 100% vegetable oil, such as walnut oil, approximately once or twice a month depending on use. Apply a small amount with a clean cloth or kitchen paper and allow it to absorb before use.

Repeated use and occasional oiling will gradually deepen the wood's natural character.

For the cotton pouch, I would not give specific washing instructions yet because the supplier information you've provided doesn't specify how the printed fabric should be washed. I'd rather leave that out than risk damaging the woodblock print.

Thoughtfully chosen natural materials for lunches on the go.
